Ann-Marie Fairbrother – U, 2007, 50 x 15 x 30cm, perspex box, wood base, 3 engraved silver plated cups
Ann-Marie Fairbrother makes interactions, art objects and installations created with an awareness of site and environment. She utilises engagement and play to draw the viewer into the work, opening up relationships and reinventing ideas. Ann-Marie’s work creates community around an object or an idea; from the participants who left clay footprints in urban landscapes to the anonymous sharing of love letters at a festival.
Based in Penzance and London, Ann-Marie is an artist, psycho-geographical adventuress and educator.
