Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change
The Elms, Green Lane
Thursday and Friday 12-2pm
Cn4c support people by providing high quality and accessible services right in the heart of the community; helping people to break free from the cycle of poverty and empowering them to ‘do it for themselves’.
Come along and try your hand at glass painting, felt making and mosaic. You can make a card, a mirrored tile and a brooch or 3d felt piece. Also, take a tour of the beautiful building, admire the art installations and be inspired to get involved with future projects. Cn4c offers lots of different courses, many of which are art based and can lead to qualifications. Why not drop in and see if you would like to sign up? (many courses are free, depending on individual circumstances)

Through constellations of ornamental gesture Jacob engages in issues concerning the stigmatisation of cultural symbols. Drawing narrative from his strained relationship with Cornwall, he employs a vast array of iconographic language spanning from his Cornish heritage through to contemporary photography and graffiti.

Siobhan has an array of fine art paintings in an Impressionist style that involves storytelling from her own life experiences. Her paintings have a dreamy quality that leaves you with a sense of calm and wonder.
Vivienne Orchard – Studio W29d
Open on Saturday 27th Sep, 11am – 4pm
Vivienne uses an eclectic mix of genres in her artwork to include seascapes, landscapes, silhouettes, abstracts and portraits. She has had exhibitions in St Ives, Falmouth and Redruth. Agnieszka Niesluchowska – Studio W29b
Open on Saturday 27th Sep, 11am – 4pm
My forms are hand built slabs constructed. I like them to be very organic with strongly textured surfaces. It’s great fun to build my forms, the part I enjoy the most is decorating them with slips, oxides, glazes and even sand from Cornish river.
