Ros Bason says of her work, “forms and figures emerge allowing for chance and accident rather than the carefully conceived. Something is felt, and then the unconscious scrabbling begins until something is found. Painting can express but it is also a tool for encompassing sensation, it has an energy that permits exploration into the noumenal world.”
