If you are interested in developing a future vision for Redruth’s town centre please come and take part in the 2-day Connected Communities: Redruth Participatory Design Workshop, brought to you by Architecture Making Community.
Connected Communities: Redruth will develop visions for the possible future of Redruth’s Town Centre following the development of two significant projects; KROWJI and Kresen Kernow. By walking, telling stories and drawing we will be exploring how these three communities connect with the town centre and consider possible futures for Fore Street itself.
Connected Communities Redruth is a 2-day public workshop directed by the participants, led by Frances Crow (Liminal) in collaboration with Simon Persighetti (Wrights & Sites) and facilitated by Architecture Making Community and Falmouth University Architecture Students.
Day 1 – 10:00 – 17:00 – Orientation and Re-orientation through walks and stories.
Day 2 – 10:00 – 15:00 – Mapping and Re-mapping through drawing and talking
15:30 – 17:00 – Exhibition opening
If you can only join us for part of the workshop come on the Saturday from 10 – 12 for the introduction and walks (or for the full Saturday experience) and then re-join us for the Exhibition opening at 15:30 on Sunday.
