21st – 23rd October
Methodist Halls

What will it be like to be a child in 2039? What would you tell the children of today?

Will children be allowed to do different things in the future?

How was the world when you were a child?

Pear Magazine is an internet publication made using this simple format: contributors can either write down a story or illustrate someone else’s story. Each issue is defined by a different theme and medium of illustration.

The theme of this first issue of Pear Magazine is childhood and the medium is black ink. For The Future Project, Pear Magazine created an all ages crèche, see some of the contributions made by festival visitors here.
